Thessaloniki Hotels Association (THA)
Thessaloniki Hotels Association (THA) is a not-for-profit professional association with its registered seat in Thessaloniki. Its members are hotels active in the Thessaloniki Regional Authority and it is the oldest hotel association in Greece, as it was established in 1914.
The key objectives of Thessaloniki Hotels Association are to study and promote the economic, social and professional interests of its members and also to promote Thessaloniki as a tourist destination through its collaboration with local and other authorities, who play a key role in the development of tourism in the area.
Today with 83 hotels-members, located mainly in the city of Thessaloniki, but also in other areas in the Thessaloniki Regional Authority, THA represents 65% of hotels and 80% of hotel beds in the Regional Authority. This capability has allowed it to play an important and decisive role, for many years now, in the development of tourism in Thessaloniki and its greater vicinity. Furthermore, THA is a founding member of the Hellenic Hotels Federation (HHF), of Thessaloniki Tourism Organization (TTO) and of Thessaloniki Convention and Visitors Bureau (TCVB).
