The balkan wars museum building
The building that today houses the Balkan Wars Museum is the main building of the farm created by Yako Modiano in 1906. The Modiano family was one of the richest families of the Jewish community and the whole Thessaloniki. The building has great historical value because here took place the negotiations between Turks and Greeks that led to the liberation of Thessaloniki by the Turks in 1912.
