Greek refugees Museum
The Educational and Cultural Foundation belonging to the Holy Diocese of Neapolis & Stavroupolis, Thessaloniki, prioritizes on collecting, processing and spreading information about the lost but not forgotten lands of the Greek nation, through urging students to get acquainted with tradition and the unique ancestral homelands. Therefore, a large collection of items are exhibited such as Icons from Eastern Thrace, Constantinople, Ionia, Cappadocia (birthplace of many saints), books, as well as old and new photos from Constantinople, Ionia and Pontus, documents stating the exceptional educational system adopted there, costumes, everyday utensils, precious relics and various documents.
